Two weeks into my Fashion
Communication & Promotion course at Nottingham Trent University..
After a hectic summer preparing
for what was going to be my biggest adventure and challenge as of yet, the time
finally arrived for me to move away to University. It was an emotional week
leading up to my fast approaching leaving date. All of a sudden I was about to
be left to find my own two feet in the wonderful city of Nottingham, to study a
course I was passionate about. I am now two weeks into my course and I am loving every moment of it!
Pre arrival task..
Over the summer we were set a pre arrival task which enabled us to get a taster of the kind of work and projects we were going to be involved in during the three year course. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time working on my pre arrival task and from the very beginning I knew this course was going to suit me perfectly.
For the task we were asked to collect, present, collage, cut and stick examples of what we felt were good fashion communication and promotion elements; this was divided into three smaller subgroups which were 'digital', 'retail' and 'printed examples'.
